Weekly Links: My Morning Routine
Here’s a list of my favorite links, listens, and good reads from the past week:
1. My Morning Routine
Last week, I received an advance copy of My Morning Routine: How Successful People Start Every Day Inspired by Benjamin Spall & Michael Xander and I love the book. It is so inspiring! Also, a few years ago Michael interviewed me for their blog. If you’re interested, you can read the interview over here.
2. Drawing & writing links
3. Traveling in the 70s & Today
Before listening to this conversation, I didn't know very much about Kevin Kelly. I recommend tuning into this interview—Kevin Kelly on the lost world of 1970s Asia (and why you should travel now).
4. iPhone wallpaper
Here’s a lovely iPhone wallpaper set that features spring in Paris!
If you’re trying to break-up with your phone, these free wallpapers might come in handy.
5. On Solitude & loneliness
A lovely and important essay by my friend Shanna: Thoughts on Solitude & Loneliness.
6. HurrySlowly – The Feedback Rush
Jocelyn K. Glei is taking a summer break, and while she's away, I'm going to listen to episodes in her podcast archive. Also, Glei’s latest segment had great fodder on feedback, criticism, self-doubt and more.
7. Bear: Write beautifully on iPhone, iPad, and Mac
I use Evernote—and a pen and paper—for personal and professional writing. I love both tools, but I have to admit that Bear is a beautiful writing app!
Thanks for reading!
