Weekly Happy Links: A Simple Summer

{This week: A Simple Year, Apica Notebooks, swimsuits, coffee, tiny closets and more.}

Hi all,

Below are 10 happy links that inspired me this week. I hope you enjoy them, too!

1. For the first time in 4 years, A Simple Year is open for registration mid-year. We’ve had so many requests from people who don’t want to wait one more year. You can join anytime between June 9th and 23rd. You’ll have immediate access to the first 6 months of content, the private Facebook group, live and recorded webinars, and everything you need to get started.

And, so you don’t worry about falling behind, we are going to provide you with a PDF at the end of the year with all of the content and links to any webinars, videos, and audio recordings. The material will be there for you as long as you need it.

You can register for A Simple Year here.

2. I’ve been creating lessons for A Simple Year—and writing my morning pages—in a very large Apica Spiral Notebook. Usually, I write in smaller notebooks; however, it’s been fun to experiment with a big notebook. Also, Apica has fountain pen-friendly paper (which is a must for me).

3. In 2013, I signed up for Northbound's Coffee Club. Every month, I receive delicious bags of coffee in the mail that fuel my writing and photography practice. If you’re a coffee fan, check out Northbound’s online store.

4. This summer, I'll be spending my free time swimming, and I’m excited about my new TYR reversible swimsuit. It’s comfortable, cute, and perfect for doing lots of laps in the pool or in the lake.

5. Last weekend, I did laps between the buoys at the Lake Siskiyou beach and camp. If you're traveling through Northern, CA, check out the beach and trails along Lake Siskiyou. It’s a peaceful place.

6. Earlier this week, I packed up our fall and winter clothes and put them in a storage bin. We have plenty of closet space and could have left our winter clothes on hangers all summer, but it felt good to put them away. It will be fun opening up the bin in the fall. If you need help downsizing your closet, check out Project 333.

7. Interesting reads via Susannah.

8. So good: The Choice Nobody is Talking About.

9. Beautiful words by Kate Oliver: “I am simply accepting that it’s okay to want both worlds, to have one to escape the other.”

10. And last but not least, I’m starting to do regular book giveaways on Instagram! This week, I’m giving away one copy of Living Large in Our Little House by Kerri Fivecoat-Campbell and one copy of Tiny Houses Built With Recycled Materials by Ryan Mitchell to one lucky winner! If you’d like to participate in the giveaway, please read the instructions here.

Thanks for reading!
