Where I'll Be Teaching & Speaking in 2016

Recently, I’ve received email inquires about what classes I’ll be teaching online in 2016. I’m not sure what courses I’ll be teaching later in the year because I’m planning less and leaving more space on my calendar to explore new and different business ideas. I’ll still be working hard, though.

During the first quarter of 2016, I’m focusing on a few key projects. If you’d like to spend time with me online or in person this year, below are two options to consider.

1. It's not too late to join "A Simple Year: Twelve Months of Guided Simplicity." Registration for our year-long course closes on January 31st. I'm leading participants through the digital and relationship modules, and I'm looking forward to it! I've been working on my lessons for the May Digital Simplicity module, and I can't wait to share them with the class. I hope you'll be able to join me and my lovely colleagues for A Simple Year 2016.

2. Every year, York College hosts a cultural series. One of the 2016 events is focused on Sustainability and Environmental Studies, and I’m thrilled to be part of the event! I'll be giving a presentation about why we decided to live small and simply. In my talk, I'll cover topics like tiny homes, happiness, and the interconnection between personal choices, consumerism, and the environment.

Last week, I talked with the event organizer—David Fyfe—to get a better sense of what the event will be like and how I can best serve the participants. I asked David if my talk would be open to the public, and he said yes. He also said I should invite everyone, so you're officially invited to the event!

If you can make it to York College in April, I’d love to see you. Below are the event details:

When - Thursday, April 21, 2016

Where - York College Weinstock Lecture Hall The event is open to students and the community.

Time - 7:00–8:00 p.m.

Have a great week!
