Growing Older

{Every week, I share a roundup of 10 happy links that I think are worth reading, listening to, or scrolling through. I hope you like them, too!}

1. I enjoyed reading Heather's Instagram post about meeting Sally. As I grow older, I want to keep exploring, traveling, camping, and writing long letters.

2. Lynda Barry on cartoons and creativity.

3. Albert Burneko’s essay—How To Drive In The Snow, In A Regular-Ass Car, Without Freaking Out—was so funny!

4. Loved this piece: Why the Tiny House Movement Isn't a Failure.

5. Get out of your head and into your body. Also, don't forget to be kind to yourself.

6. If you have the opportunity to visit Southern Oregon University, take a stroll through Hannon Library. It’s beautiful!

7. A few weeks ago, I was writing at Case Coffee in Ashland, OR and had a brief conversation with Joe and Ann. We exchanged cards, and I finally had a chance to explore their website, Zero Net Energy Homes. They are doing interesting work.

8. My friend Syndee told me about Mahabis slippers, and I finally ordered a pair. I can’t wait to put them on my feet!

9. Great tips: How to unwind in under five minutes.

10. Want to take a digital sabbatical? Read this essay.

With gratitude,
