Happy Links: From Reclaiming Conversation to Downtime

{Every week, I share a roundup of happy links because these resources have inspired me to make positive changes in my life. I hope they motivate and inspire you, too! Enjoy.}

I’m a fan of Sherry Turkle’s work and was excited to hear that she released a new book—Reclaiming Conversation. I'm more than halfway through the book, and Turkle’s words have already changed how I spend my time. I’m still reading Reclaiming Conversation and thinking how I can implement her tips and research into my daily life. Once I’m done with the book, I’ll share a review on the blog. Go to your local library or bookstore and pick up a copy Reclaiming Conversation. It’s an incredible read!

My author friend Joshua Becker is also doing amazing work. He recently launched a new non-profit—The Hope Effect—to help orphans. Read his latest post to learn more about the organization and how you can help.

You can find quiet in a city.

I love Philippa Stanton’s Instagram photos, and I enjoyed her conversation with Jules. Read the interview here.

Gert's well-loved journal and planner collection is beautiful. Analogue tools are awesome!

The folks at Mahabis shared a gorgeous visual guide to downtime on their blog.

With gratitude,

Tammy
