Life in Small Apartment

{Every week, I share a round-up of happy links because these resources have inspired me to make positive changes in my life. I hope they motivate and inspire you, too! Enjoy.}

When we aren't home, the cats go in and out of our house through the bathroom window. Normally, Elaina will sit in the window and supervise the neighborhood activities. As I drove up to the house last week, I spotted something odd in the window. It was a yellow tomcat!

Recently, the cats have had a few accidents in the house, and they got into a huge fight a few months ago, which resulted in a vet trip. It made me wonder if the tomcat has been hanging out in our house, beating up on my cats, and peeing. Thankfully, he didn't spray in the house.

Logan remarked, "You know it's time to move when the local wildlife start coming into your home."

With that segue—we moved into a 400-square-foot apartment in town. Also, I don't think we’ll return to full-time tiny house living. We'll still live small and simply; it just won't be in the tiny house. I'll write an essay about the why behind this decision soon, so stay tuned.

Now onto this week's happy links ...

Mark and Laura, from Enjoy Life Slowly, interviewed me last week. You can find the interview on their website. Scroll down to the happiness section to find the link.
