Happy Links: From Journaling to Conquering Life

{Every Friday, I share a round-up of happy links because these resources have inspired me to make positive changes in my life. I hope they motivate and inspire you, too!  Enjoy.}

Earlier this week, I shared news about our upcoming move to our tiny house. I'm excited about the change! Before we made the decision to move, I spent a lot of time writing in my journal. I wrote lists, created mind maps, and jotted down long entries about where I wanted to spend spring, summer, and fall. By writing down my needs and wants, I could clearly see—on paper—that moving back to the tiny house was the best option. Life is a constant adventure, and regular journaling helps me see clearly and also make informed decisions about my life.

And speaking of journaling, registration for my new e-course—Write to Flourish: A Beginner’s Guide to Journaling—closes today, April 3, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. PDT. I hope you’ll join us for the spring session. You can sign-up here.

Now onto this week’s happy links …

Michelle from Seaweed Kisses interviewed Gert about her journaling practice. She blogs at Pepper and Twine. The interview was delightful and inspiring.

Cheryl Strayed's article about her PCT journal made me reconsider my journal shredding habit.

Recently, I've been thinking about the definition of home. Lisa Congdon's essay Our Next Big Adventure focused on this topic, and I loved her remarks about how intentional change can spark creativity.

Susannah’s recent post about self-care and the Internet was a timely reminder.

Amanda’s recent post on regrets and adventure was thoughtful.

On infertility and hard choices.

The Conquering Life Retreat looks awesome! I’m tempted to attend (via Jolie).
