On New Money Habits

{Every week, I publish a series of inspiring links. Enjoy!}

One of my 2015 intentions is to reevaluate my relationship with money. Logan and I worked hard to pay off our debt and gain control over our finances. However, there is still room to grow and learn. For example, this year I separated my personal and business accounts, and I'm learning how to use Mint effectively. Plus, I’ve been journaling about my money issues (like my fear of not having enough money). Journaling every day gives me the opportunity to work through my fears.

In addition to journaling, I'm thankful for blogs, podcasts, and e-courses. When I want to learn new skills, there are a plethora of online resources that can help me take action steps and expand my knowledge base. I share my happy links round-up every week because these resources have inspired me to make positive changes in my life, and I hope they motivate and inspire you, too!

Now onto this week's happy links ...

Good advice here: "Get Paid Like a Boss” and "What to do when you're freaking out about money."

"The Power of Money on Your Mind, Body, and Soul" with Kabir Sehgal.

Zen Pencils is fun!

I loved Jonathan Fields’s recent post: "Don't create content. Move people."

My friend Courtney is offering a sweet new program! Check it out: Be More with Less: the live sessions.

Gretchen Rubin's new book Better Than Before: Mastering the Habits of Everyday Life is fantastic! I loved the chapter "The Four Tendencies." Also, I took Gretchen's habit tendencies survey and was surprised to learn I'm an upholder. Take the survey, read the book, and learn how your tendencies shape your habits.

I’m always looking for good books and articles to read. If you have recommendations, please leave a comment below.

Be well,
