Happy Links: From Impossible Hats to Mug Life

{Every week, I publish a series of inspiring links. Enjoy!}

Here in the U.S., we are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving. It's one of my favorite holidays! I love the crisp weather and spending time with family.

I decided to post my link round-up early because I'm taking a Thanksgiving break. I will share photos on Instagram. But I won't be checking email, writing blog posts, or working on e-courses. I will be back to blogging next week!

Now onto this week's happy links:

My friend Robyn Devine is working on a fantastic charitable project! It's all about hats and kids. I bought one of Robyn's Impossible Hats and it's kept me warm and cozy on long hikes (it's on my head in the photo above). Please check out the project. It's a wonderful way to support educational opportunities for kids. If you want to learn about Robyn's work read She Makes Hats.

My friend Jolie shared The Disease of Being Busy in her newsletter. It was a good read. And speaking of Jolie, she was interviewed by the folks at Tom Bihn. Her comments about "taking the win" were so good!

I loved this conversation with Susan Orlean, author of The Orchid Thief and a staff writer for The New Yorker. Krys Boyd and Orlean talked about writing, reading, social media, and more.

I recently discovered a podcast called Death, Sex & Money. It's "about the big questions and hard choices that are often left out of polite conversation." I highly recommend subscribing because the segments are thoughtful and informative.

A must watch video about gratitude.

The latest Tiny House Magazine (Issue 23) was published earlier this week. Logan contributed an article to this issue. It's titled Why We Moved from the Tiny House to a Small Traditional House for the Winter.

For my paper and planner loving friends, check out the 2015 Desire Map Day Planner. It’s awesome! You can read my review of the planner here.

And last but not least, The Mug Life Project is rad!

Be well & Happy Thanksgiving,
