Hi all,

Below are 10 happy links that inspired me this week. I hope you enjoy them, too!

1. The folks at Wholesale Solar gifted us solar panels for our tiny house. Logan and I are extremely grateful for the gift! Check out Wholesale Solar’s website to learn what it takes to get a tiny house set up with solar power.

2. I loved Paul Jarvis’s article—My favourite newsletter is one you’ve never heard of. I hope my weekly blog posts bring you joy. If they don’t, unsubscribe. It won’t hurt my feelings.

3. Great advice from the head of the National Book Foundation: One Way To Bridge The Political Divide: Read The Book That’s Not For You.

4. SO GOOD: Quit Social Media. Your Career May Depend on It by Cal Newport. Also, be sure to read Cal’s follow up piece on this topic.

5. Dakota’s recent essay—Cutting Back on Social Media Distractions—was a timely read for me. I’ll write about why I’ve cut back on social media use soon. Stay tuned!

6. One of my goals for 2017—and for the rest of 2016—is to give more money to organizations that empower girls and women. For example, I made a $50 donation to Girls Inc. last week. Check out their work here and here.

7. A powerful article about body image & the paparazzi by Jennifer Aniston.

8. So true: You don’t have to do it all.

9. Before the Thanksgiving holiday, Logan and I saw Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I loved the film!

10. And last, but not least, the lovely folks at Flow Magazine gifted me a copy of the Flow Book for Paper Lovers and the Flow Mindfulness Workbook! I adore everything Flow Magazine creates because their products are positive, beautiful, and helpful. Being self-employed is rad. However, if Flow Magazine were hiring, I’d be the first to apply. You can subscribe to Flow Magazine here.

Thanks for reading! If you enjoy my weekly happy links roundup and want to support it, share this post with a friend.

With gratitude,
Tammy
