Weekly Happy Links: April Love

Photo by Tammy Strobel

{Every week, I share a roundup of 10 happy links that I think are worth reading, listening to, or scrolling through. I hope you like them, too!}

1. The lovely Susannah Conway is hosting April Love again! I’ll let Susannah explain the project in her own words …

“For this year’s challenge, I’ve put together a list of 30 prompts inviting you to write— or photograph or draw or collage—a love letter every day in April.

Each prompt starts with ‘Dear…’ and all address various parts of our selves and our world. Every day in April has a different prompt, and the idea is to write a daily letter in your journal—or craft a poem or take a photograph or paint a picture or make a collage or write a blog post, etc.—in response to the prompt.”

2. Recently, Jess Lively interviewed Gary Vaynerchuk and it was a fascinating conversation. When Gary spoke about self-awareness and why work “hustle” isn’t for everyone, I nodded my head in agreement. If you need a dose of inspiration, listen to the interview.

3. The Journal Diaries is an awesome series! Read the latest interviews here and here.

4. I enjoyed looking through Michelle’s crafty links!

5. Google made its $149 Nik Collection of photography tools free.

6. Good to know: How to froth milk.

7. Amanda Sandlin on how to find your true voice by making, making and making some more.

8. I loved reading Tera Wages’s recent essay: Relax your butt cheeks, they are just fine.

9. I’ll be following Courtney’s simple travel trips on my upcoming journey to York College.

10. A few weeks ago, I told you about my sister-in-law’s new book, Romancing the Null. It was a fantastic read! The second book in the series—Conditional Probability of Attraction—is available to purchase. I can’t wait to read it!

With gratitude,
Tammy
