Happy Links: From Swimming to Blogging

Photography by Tammy Strobel

{Every week, I share a roundup of 10 happy links that I think are worth reading, listening to, or scrolling through. I hope you like them, too!}

1. If you enjoy swimming, check out the U. S. Masters Swimming website. It’s filled with fantastic resources!

2. I’m going to participate in the Whiskeytown Lake 2-mile open water swim this summer, so I’ve been reading a lot of articles about swimming. Here are a few of my favorites: How to Train for a Middle Distance Open Water Swim | Climb the Distance Ladder with a Distance Diva | The Benefits of Group Swimming.

3. I learned about Lewis Pugh’s story and expeditions in Find A Way. Pugh’s advocacy work to protect our oceans through swimming is intriguing and inspiring. Check out his website.

4. 6 opinions on having a creative opinion.

5. The rise of ‘buy me once’ shopping.

6. YES to this: Love things that last!

7. I enjoyed looking through Kara’s bullet journaling supplies.

8. A handwriting challenge via Kara: “Our goal with #RockYourHandwriting is to dive deeper into handwriting practice, shed light on different ways that people improve their handwriting, and to provide a community of people committed to sharing their handwriting knowledge, tips, and tricks.”

Check out the March Rock Your Handing Writing prompts, too.

9. My current Instagram crushes: @she_explores | @cabinlove | @whole30recipes | @sim.plethings | @boho.berry

10. I loved Susannah Conway’s recent essay about blogging.

With gratitude,
