Scenes from the Road

Recently, I went on a short trip with my mom. We had a great time visiting friends in Longview, WA and we went to Astoria and Eugene, OR! Enjoy the scenes from the road.

You were just a few blocks from our house in Eugene (picture #2). Wish we’d known; we’d have invited you in! For breakfast, it looks like.

Oh my, Tammy! That first pic! When I first moved to Eugene, I lived in that house on the left that has the iron fence. 2196 Olive St! It wasn’t so nice (and no fence) while I was there, though. My daughter and I lived there with 2 other renters for about a year. I loved the view! Thanks for the memory. Jolene

    Gorgeous pictures :)!
Really threw me that you actually had your pancake with a viking pewter knife – I sold thousands of those when I was a student and we assumed they never went into use, how cool is that??

Thanks Ann! My host’s late husband was from Norway. They had a lot of Norway themed goodies in their home (including the knives). πŸ˜‰
