Happy Links: From Bliss to Beginners

{Every Friday, I share a round-up of happy links because these resources have inspired me to make positive changes in my life. I hope they motivate and inspire you, too! Enjoy.}

I didn’t read many articles online this week. Instead, I spent my time reading books, listening to podcasts, walking, listening to raindrops on my tiny roof, and working on fun new projects. I’ll share news about my projects soon, so be sure to subscribe for updates!

Now onto this week’s happy links …

Happiness A-Z: The Gleeful Guide to Finding Your Bliss is a sweet read. It’s full of happiness pointers and beautiful quotes.

Last weekend, Logan and I watched Do More With Less. We’d already planned to hike small segments of the Pacific Crest Trail this summer, and Do More With Less motivated me to stick with my hiking plans. (Thanks for sharing the film, Chris!)

I loved these podcasts: “Cartographer of Meaning in a Digital Age” and “Building a Living Around Your Creative Soul.”

Yes to this: “There are a few things, however, that I don’t mind spending bigger money on and going out of my way to find: good books, wholesome food, and grand adventures.” —via Amanda

I navigated my way to Brené Brown’s website last week and discovered a novel called Happiness for Beginners by Katherine Center. I downloaded the sample on my Kindle, got hooked on the narrative, and bought the book! I’ve been staying up past my bedtime to read, and I’m looking forward to reading Katherine’s other books.

What are you reading this week?

With gratitude,
