Happy Links: From A Book Event to Brené Brown

Big Red, taken with my iPhone 5s{Every week, I publish a series of inspiring links. Enjoy!}

On August 23, 2014, Logan and I will be at The Enjoy Store in Red Bluff, California for a “My Morning View” book signing and a Northbound Coffee Roasters tasting event! The gathering starts at 10am. I hope to see you there!

I was deeply saddened by the news of Robin Williams’s death, earlier this week. NPR ran an interview Williams did with with Terry Gross in 2006. It was funny and insightful. Listen to the interview here. Also, Mike Rowe wrote a fantastic post about Williams on his Facebook page. I highly recommend reading it.

Last week, I ordered the “Togetherness Postcard Set” from Julianna Swaney’s shop. These cards will be perfect for my pen pals!

Good reads: “Give me gratitude or give me debt” / “Certainty in life” / “How to cultivate a writing routine when you run a business.”

The Chopra Center is offering a free mediation program called “Expanding Your Happiness!” Join us.

I’m reading “Wild” for the third time and love every word.

Brené Brown’s words are wise and true: “When confronted with news of a stranger’s unimaginable pain – a suicide, an overdose, a protest for justice and basic dignity – we have two choices: We can choose to respond from fear or we can choose courage.”

Be well,
Tammy

P. S. If you’ve read “My Morning View” please leave a review on amazon.com. Reviews help spread the word about my little book. Thanks in advance!

    Have a great time signing books Tammy, that’s so cool. Thanks for sharing “Give me Gratitude or Give me Debt” – it’s brilliantly written with an excellent message, and I love the idea of “perspectacles”!
