A Photo Essay: Freezing Fog

For the past week, it’s been foggy and cold in the Yreka area. It was so nice to see the sun yesterday and when I woke up this morning the sun was peeking through the clouds again! I’m looking forward to taking a long hike today and hopefully the sun will hang around.

Enjoy the photos!

You guys have had a LOT of fog for the past week or so. We had fog in Weed for 2-3 days and it was pretty impressive with the ice that formed on the tress and plants here. Posted images on my blog as well.
Very nice pics you have posted here. 🙂
And a new book – how exciting!

Tammy, I’ve been back to this post a couple of times to take in the beautiful images again. Such exquisite seasonal extremes to our summer here. I too am hoping to create my first photography book for family and friends. I’m excited to see yours. Your images always bring a wave of calmness over me.
