A Simple Year: Twelve Months of Guided Simplicity

Last week, I talked about what I’ve been doing. I also mentioned a secret project that I’ve been working on with my favorite simplicity authors and bloggers! Today, I’m excited to finally tell you about the project.

a simple year

Living simply provides so many benefits, but sometimes it can be challenging to maintain a commitment to long-term change. If you look forward to living with less stuff, stress and obligation so you can have more time, money and energy to pursue what means most to you, choose to live a simple year.

A simple year was designed to help simplify your life. You’ll learn something new each month and focus on what matters most with a simplicity author that specializes in topics like travel, food, money, relationships and work.

Each month you’ll receive articles and information about a specific topic (details below) along with a live component like a webinar or tele seminar where you can connect with the author, ask questions and meet other people on a similar path. The live components will be recorded and provided so you can view anytime.

Here is a quick list of the topics and contributors:

  • January: Clutter with Joshua Becker
  • February: Busyness with Courtney Carver
  • March: Travel with Colin Wright
  • April: Kitchen with Jules Clancy
  • May: Digital with Tammy Strobel
  • June: Work with Courtney Carver
  • July: Money with Joshua Becker
  • August: Stay Simple with Brooke McAlaray
  • September: Challenge with The Minimalists
  • October: Food with Jules Clancy
  • November: Relationships with Tammy Strobel
  • December: Holidays with The Minimalists

Visit simpleyear.co to learn more about each contributor and the monthly topics. You can also register for the course at simpleyear.co. Early registration closes on December 18, 2013.

I look forward to starting a simple year with you in January!

Be well,

    Hi Tammy,

Great idea! I was wondering if it would be possible to just sign up for select courses instead of the entire year?

    • Tammy Strobel December 4, 2013, 8:26 am

Thanks Christina! I’m excited about the class. It’s going to be fun.

      To answer your question . . .

No, this course is only available as a full year, but if there are topics you aren’t interested in, you can skip those months without missing out on the months that are most important to you.

Hi Tammy – Good luck with the course. January is still the month each year I feel motivated to simplify even further (rather than diet ;-)). Perhaps it’s the business of December, it makes it all the more appealing. Jo
**Have a wonderful rest of December and enjoy the holidays!**

would you believe what I need help with most is scheduling? I don’t seem to have a regular 24 hour day and it messes up everything!

working on it but it isn’t going well.

off to check out A Simple Year . . .

Can stuff be downloaded? It would take me longer than a month to do most of these?

    • Tammy Strobel December 5, 2013, 8:51 am

      I believe so, Gina. 🙂
