Happy Links: From Instagram to The Tiny Life

{Every week, I publish a series of inspiring links. Enjoy!}

Introducing video on Instagram!

The indisposable concept.

The worry that you’re doing the wrong thing right now.

I am a writer.

The Internet IS real life.

Less in the city.

On my nightstand: Zen Under Fire and The Fire Starter Sessions.

Recently, Katy Tynan interviewed me and her piece was picked up by Mother Earth News. The article turned out really well. It’s called Living the Tiny Home Life.

    Great article! We are both starting our build today, and signing a lease to a much smaller attic apt. I’ll be giving up much of my kitchen (something really important to me). We’ve known all along that we need to make our transition to 160 sq/ft gradual (and it has been) but it’s always challenging for me when I’m facing it head on. I’m big on baking, multi-dish Indian and Ethiopian meals, and we brew copious amounts of kombucha (something that just won’t fit in our new tiny fridge). Nonetheless, there is a reason we are making these changes. We value living a smaller, simpler life that brings us in to contact with the things we really value (people, nature, etc.) on a daily basis. Thanks for holding a candle in this direction!
