Happy Links: Snail Mail Love

{Every week, I publish a series of inspiring links. Enjoy!}

As I was lying in bed this morning, I wasn’t sure if I had many happy links to share with you. I haven’t been online much this week because I’ve been preparing for my photography e-course and revamping my writing class. However, after I climbed down the loft ladder, made coffee, and had a few sips, I remembered all the wonderful mail I received this week and realized that I had plenty of happy links to share.

I love getting letters and packages in the mail and this week was filled with all kinds of goodies! I usually don’t get this much stuff in the mail. However, I purchased a few books for work, stationary for my letter writing habit, and two new dresses.

Below is a list of what arrived in my mailbox this week:

  • My Filofax came just in time for Journal Your Life with Susannah Conway! I’ll write about how I’m using this little planner on the blog soon!
  • Stationary packages arrived for my letter writing habit. I’m loving this hand drawn, retro camera stationary and these mini coffee notecards.
  • A few months ago, I was interviewed for Flow Magazine. The new issue is about simplicity and I was delighted to find a copy in the mailbox this week! The magazine is in Dutch and I wish I could read it because the layout is so lovely! Luckily, a friend from Instagram told me that Flow has an International version. I’ll have to subscribe.

Did you receive snail mail love this week? Share your mail list in the comments section.

P. S. Tomorrow is the last day to register for my photography ecourse, “Everyday Magic.” If you’d like to join us, you can sign-up over here.

    I received a pretty handmade thank you card yesterday. Getting unexpected snail mail is the best (:

    Love the Filofax! They are my number 1 essential organising tool!
    Happiness is in the details x

    I recently placed an order with Amazon for a few books for me (ones that are not available at the library) and a video that I love but, only have on VHS so I decided to get it on DVD. Plus I also got a book for my hubby for an anniversary gift that he has been wanting. That has been my love to myself but, heck it works.

    Ohhh Tammy that looks like a wonderful collection of swag! Just checked out Flow magazine, it looks great! I can’t wait to get my mitts on a copy – so cool you’re featured in it. Those notecards are so cute – I think I’m going to get some of my photographs made into postcards (following your wise instructions from Everyday Magic) 🙂 so that I can continue my penpal addiction 🙂

    And because I am such a stationary perv, after seeing your new filofax, I spent about an hour on their website! – Think I’m going to treat myself to “Peru” to keep track of my teaching and lessons.

    I’m reading the real-life paper copy of This I Know. I wanted to see Susannah’s photographs for real, and I’ve been compelled to write alllllllllll over the margins! The paper is such a treat to scribble on 🙂 Really enjoying it, what a magical book! Enjoy your new treats! Love, Katie. XXX

    Hi Tammy. I haven’t commented for quite some time, but I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your posts. I don’t think I could ever downsize enough to live in a tiny house, but I do dream about it and think it’s wonderful that it works for you and Logan. My heart goes out to you both, as you figure out what you’ll do next. My husband and I are going through some major changes too – selling property, downsizing, combining households while dealing with health issues and aging parents. It’s a challenge!

    I find some comfort in creating something by hand, mostly knitting right now. Last year for Christmas, I made a felted oven mitt for my family members. I made 14, all different colors…. I love the knitted piece that you used as a backdrop for one of your photos. I’m guessing you made it. It’s lovely. All the best to you.

      Hi Colleen – Yes, I did make that knitted piece. It’s a queen size blanket; it took over 1 year to finish. Thank you for reading!
