Gratitude and a Giveaway

Yesterday, I wrote a gratitude list in my journal and I decided to share it with you. I hope my list will inspire you to create your own!

I’m grateful that I’m feeling better.

I’m grateful for the Gratitude Journal.

I’m grateful for my mom’s friendship.

I’m grateful for our tiny house.

I’m grateful for long, afternoon naps.

I’m grateful for hot showers.

I’m grateful for my morning view and a hot cup of coffee.

I’m grateful for you! Thank you for reading my blog, buying my books, and registering for my e-courses. I couldn’t do this work without your support, so thank you.

Micro-action: Take out your journal and write a gratitude list. Start with the phrase “I’m grateful for” and fill in the rest.

Also, I’m giving away one spot in my photography course, “Everyday Magic!” Simply leave a comment at the bottom of this post and fill in this sentence, “I’m grateful for . . . ”

I’ll announce the winner on Friday, March 22nd in my happy link round-up.

Be well,

Update: Comments are closed. I’ll announce the winner of Friday, March 22nd.

What will tomorrow be? I don’t know, but you just can’t see (or smell) this spring-y bounty from behind the windshield of your car.

I am grateful for this time of awareness, though it does not come all at once for me… yesterday, I missed a deal on Craigslist, that I thought was mine (two ponies), and I went through various gyrations in my head. But I finally came to the fact that the drive over the Cascades on my way to place a down on the ponies, inspired me to explore another way of starting my Pony Project, as well as considering ways of making connections for shared barn care…..a sort of co-op. I have been so fortunate to have time…. time that I can allocate to all the many areas of moving energy for which I am involved, including Yoga & Qigong. as well as beginning the spring garden, clearing clutter, and sending off inspiration to my sister who is struggling with developing her own business. Ah, time…

I’m grateful to bloggers like Tammy who have helped me to find the road of mindfulness, minimalism and an attitude of kindness in everyday life.

  • Motivational Speaker | Craig Harper March 20, 2013, 9:41 pm

    Hey Tammy.

I’m grateful I have found your blog 🙂

It’s easy to forget how lucky we are. I am fit and healthy, and I have enough food to eat and clean water to drink. That’s pretty damn lucky if you ask me. Many people in this world are not so fortunate. We often take these simple things for granted, it would do us well to take a few minutes to celebrate these things once in a while.

I’m grateful to be a VGPR from cancer,
I’m grateful for my husband and two exceptional children
I’m grateful to have a roof over my head
    I’m grateful for another day.

I am grateful I get to visit my daughter who is in grad school in California. Having an entire continent in between your first born and yourself can be a little disheartening and I am grateful we are going to get to spend a whole week together 🙂

I’m grateful for my health, the upcoming birth of my daughter, and a new job opportunity that is closer to home.
