Birthday Wishes

by Tammy Strobel on November 7, 2012

I received many lovely birthday notes and calls yesterday. Thank you so much; I appreciate the well wishes and kind words. In addition, thank you for reading this blog. Writing, taking photos, and sharing my creative work brings an incredible amount of happiness into my everyday life.

And speaking of happiness, below is a short list of tiny pleasures that made me feel happy and grateful over the last few days.

Happiness is a birthday dinner with my mother-in-law and Logan.

Happiness is receiving lots of birthday wishes in my inbox.

Happiness is a 14-mile bike ride into town.

Happiness is taking photos of beautiful pink flowers.

Happiness is a new hair cut.

Happiness is noticing the golden fall leaves.

Happiness is blackberry pie for breakfast.

Happiness is new slippers to keep my feet warm.

Happiness is saying thank you.

Micro-action: Expressing gratitude to friends, family, and co-workers is one way to bring happiness and joy into your life. Take 15 minutes out of your day and send a note of gratitude and thanks to someone in your life.

Be well,

Beautiful <3

I wrote about the subject gratitude and a book I read about it two weeks ago.

I believe that gratitude for what we have attract more good things to our lifes – makes us happier- we feel even more grateful = and it´s a circle of good things going on in our lifes.

Happy (Belated) Birthday, Tammy!

I’m adoring the photo of the golden leaves on the tree with the wooden fence. I take it this was biking into town?

Thanks also for your website and having it be a place for positive work :)

Happy Birthday! May you have a wonderful year. I’ve followed your blog for some time now. You’re my inspiration. Among many changes, I know now my library card number by heart instead of my credit card. 😉

Dear Tammy, I came to your blog today to thank you for being on my radio show 11/6/12 and saw it was your birthday, yesterday! I trust you are still celebrating! Happy Birthday!

Also, I am writing a blog post on your tiny house experience and wondered if I could borrow a pic of a small house from your blog?

Thanks again, Tammy!
