I’ve been working on my upcoming photography course for the last few weeks and this morning I spent a little bit of time procrastinating. Instead of writing, I was editing pictures of the sweet baby calf pictured above.
I met her over the holiday and was immediately taken with her big eyes and how she let me scratch her chin. I suspect that she was after a bottle of milk, instead a friendship with me, but that’s okay.
The baby calf’s loving nature reminded me of a quote by Albert Einstein. He says:
“Our task must be to free ourselves… by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and it’s beauty.”
