Everyday Life: The Sun & Moon

{Photography helps me see the world differently and enables me to be less sad about my dad’s death. Since I’ve been taking so many photos, I decided to begin a new series on the blog called  “Everyday Life.” Enjoy!}

Visiting Orange County and taking care of my nieces and nephew was an interesting, challenging, and fun experience. I’m glad that I had the time to help my step-brother, but I’m looking forward to going home, riding my bike, and getting back into my writing routine.

Over the next week, I’ll be working on essays about my travel adventures. In the meantime, enjoy the photos!

    i love the saturation in your photos. i feel like i’ve fallen into the current fad with faded-vintage-overexposed pictures lately and you’ve inspired me to get back into what was/has always been my personal style. keep up the awesome work 🙂

    Great photos. I can’t decide between the one with sunset on the water or the full moon reflected in the ocean. I love the size of the full moon shot–think it is a very dramatic piece of art.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Beautiful, Tammy. Just what I needed at this time. We’ve already got a whole week of rain already up here in Seattle!

    Hi Tammy, I’m new to your blog. I’ve been admiring your photography and I just read about how you try to find happiness after losing your dad. My husband and I are sharply feeling the loss of my husband’s brother who died unexpectedly this last Friday. Your post is timely and comforting. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and my condolences to you for your dad’s passing.
