Get Your Stamp On . . .

{Note: During the month of August, I’m participating in The August BreakYou’ll see a lot of photos on the blog this month. For more on that read this post.}

In late May, I stumbled across Kozue Schwartz’s work. She creates lovely stamps and I was immediately taken with the idea. After looking at Kozue’s Etsy page, I decided to send her a note and ask her to design a custom stamp for book signings. The stamp arrived yesterday!

Check it out . . .

In addition, I recorded an audio blog that contains fun news about my book! You can listen in here:

    That’s so cool! I’m working on some print carvings too. I’m not sure yet if they’ll end up as woodblocks or rubber/vinyl stamps, but in honor of our move onto our wooden ketch-rigged sailboat, I’m working on some “Home Sweet Ketch” designs. 🙂

    Can’t wait to read your book!

    Wow, lots going on! Your voice sounds happy and excited in your audio today (love that format, by the way). Happy picture taking!

    I’m trying to rescue my plants namely the Basil and the Tomato. Was away for 2 months and it the Basils decided to flower!

    Bad news when Basil flowers….so the project s to try to save the plants. Else no fresh basils for a while. As for the tomato, neds plenty of plant food, love ad lots of sun! Fingers crossed if I can get the taste of my tomatos, coz the first 2 were eaten by a friend who said they were tasty! He ate them coz he didn’t want it to go wasted on the vine.

    Hey Tammy!

    Super post and I love the audio. Perhaps I will try one myself one of these days 🙂

    This week I’m working on preparing super duper french lessons to teach to my fellow English people in the French village that we live in.

    I’ve just received a new shipment of yarn, so I am a one-woman crochet machine!

    I am whispering sweet nothings to my vegetables in the garden; and gasping in absolute awe every day at their progress – such a magical thing to grow your own food from scratch!

    And I am writings lots and lots and can’t wait to start your course.

    p.s.s.s.s.t.t.t.t…Hurrah for Kozue! She carved me a stamp with my Je Suis Une Monstre logo, which I used to stamp all my packaging for my handmade Hoop-la Scarves: http://jesuisunemonstre.blogspot.fr/2011/10/10-hoop-la-scarves-hanging-on-wall.html
