Everyday Life: Indulge

{Photography helps me see the world differently and enables me to be less sad about my dad’s death. Since I’ve been taking so many photos, I decided to begin a new series on the blog called  “Everyday Life.” The series showcase’s images from my everyday life. In addition, it fits perfectly with The August Break. Enjoy!}

The count-down has started. We only have seven more days until we move back to California. So this week I’m indulging in coffee, sweet treats, time with friends, and in-between all of that I’m writing and taking pictures too. I hope you’re making time to indulge in small pleasures before the summer ends.

Enjoy the photos . . .

P.S. You Can Buy Happiness (and It’s Cheap) hits the shelves on September 18th! I’m so excited to send my book baby out into the world. Please pre-order a copy. It’s a great way to support my writing.

Also, I’ll be going on a tiny book tour soon. I hope to see you at one of my author events!

    In the midst of all you’re doing before your move I kept waiting to hear you say that you had to pack. But I guess when you live in a tiny house with as few things as you have packing is relatively easy! Possibly way down on the list or maybe not on the list at all.

    What an awesome thought! Moving with little to no packing. Wow. Talk about reducing stress.

    Peace to you in the midst or your move!

      @Scott – Luckily we don’t have to pack very much stuff. We’ll box up our books and pantry and put our porch and bulk food in the house when we tow it down the road. Moving with little to no packing is going to be awesome.

      Although, I’m nervous about towing the house down the road. 🙂 I’ll write more on this topic after the move. Have a great day!
