Inspiring Links: Photo Love & Other Goodies

by Tammy Strobel on August 24, 2012

{Every week, I publish a small round-up of my favorite articles, books, photos, and other goodies. Enjoy!}

Last week, I rediscovered a fun app for my iPhone called FlipBoard. I’m loving all the photography articles that FlipBoard has led me to. Most of the inspiring links, in today’s round-up, are all about photography. But there are some other goodies too, including a podcast about work-life balance, a wonderful article focused on self-care, and more. Enjoy!

- Love these photos of Morocco.

- Need something to make you smile? Check out these animal photos.

- Learn photography by example.

- Urban and Rural Photography.

- Remember to coddle yourself when you’re sick.

- After the Jump: Work-Life Balance.

- Ingredients of Writing.

- Paul Mill leaves the Internet for a year. This article reminded me of the month I took offline last year.

- Offline: How’s it going?

- And speaking of the Internet, this video is hilarious.

Be well,
Tammy

Tammy,

I discovered your site the other night by some type of invisible hand (and not the one Adam Smith was talking about).Yesterday, We got our Nikon 5100. Looking forward to the weekend to be able to get some photos up

And then you post a link to Photo Naturalist. Thanks for knowing what I was looking for ahead of time :)

@John – :) Enjoy the new camera! I’m heading out for a photo walk now. It’s a beautiful day!

Thanks for reading.

I always love your Friday posts. At least an hour of every Saturday morning turns into this journey I take through (and past) the links you’ve exposed me to. Which might be the opposite of Paul’s year off and/or the cause of me not writing a book…or whatever. But I truly enjoy the gems you collect and post. And that iPhone video? Made.my.day.

Happy weekend!
